Jonathan Groff joins the Doctor Who cast

Whether you know him from Glee, Looking, Frozen, the last Matrix movie, Hamilton or anywhere else, you probably know out gay actor Jonathan Groff.

It was recently announced that Jonathan will be joining Doctor Who in a "key role" starring alongside Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor.  Fan speculation is running wild about who he might be playing. Will he be a new character or a returning one?

Could he be the next Master, the long awaited return of the Rani, Rassilon, one of the Dominators, a Guardian, or someone else? Who would you like to see him play? Comment below.

Personally I'd like to see him play King George III again, he was pretty perfect as him in Hamilton.
