The 2024 NYC Pride March will take place on Sunday, June 30, beginning at 11:00 am ET. The march will start at 25th Street and 5th Avenue, proceed south on 5th Avenue, pass by the Stonewall National Monument, and conclude in Chelsea at 16th Street and 7th Avenue. This year's grand marshals are Michelle Visage, Baddie Brooks, Dashawn Usher, Eshe Ukwell, Miss Major, Raquel Willis, and Robin Drake. The theme for the 2024 march is "Reflect. Empower. Unite," celebrating the 40th anniversary of Heritage of Pride, the nonprofit organization behind New York City's official LGBTQIA+ Pride events, and commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising.

For those unable to attend, the 2024 Pride March will be broadcast for the eighth consecutive year on ABC New York, available for streaming on June 30. Nationwide coverage will be provided by ABC News Live, featuring a major streaming event called "Pride Across America," with five hours of coverage from three of the country's largest pride marches—NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco—starting at 11 am EDT / 8 am PDT.

PrideFest, the annual street fair with exhibitors, entertainers, food, and activities, returns for another day of fun and celebration. This vibrant event, starting at 11 am, also on June 30, brings together NYC locals, families, community leaders, and global talent performing at StageFest. Cocktails for the Community

Brooklyn Kura, NYC's first sake brewery, is donating 20% of proceeds from select cocktails to LGBTQ+ organizations. Previous weeks have benefited The Trevor Project, Encircle Together, and the Ali Forney Center. Crafted by Bar Manager Kyle Davis, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, these cocktails are as unique as they are delicious. From June 20-23, enjoy the Weekend Lover cocktail (featuring ube, coconut, sake kasu piña colada, MSG, sweet potato shochu, Oaxacan rum, lime, and mango leaf), with 20% of proceeds going to Callen Lorde.

Milady’s, SoHo's queer and female-owned neighborhood dive, will offer Rainbow Margarita Jell-O Shots throughout the month of June, donating $1 from each shot to Trans Lifeline's Hotline Program, which supports transgender individuals in crisis.

Sparkle with Pride

High On Love

NYC's premier cannabis dispensary and concept store, Gotham, recently launched its "High On Love" campaign to celebrate Pride Month. This initiative unites creatives across various industries, celebrating love in all its forms. Photographed by celebrity and editorial photographer Dean Isidro, the campaign showcases prominent figures in fashion, music, beauty, and beyond from the LGBTQ+ community. The Gotham brand, built and staffed by a majority of LGBTQ+ individuals, positions cannabis as a "cultural connector," standing at the intersection of NYC's art scene and the evolving landscape of cannabis legalization. These worlds thrive thanks to the LGBTQ+ advocates who have driven these movements forward. In support of the LGBTQ+ community, Gotham will donate a portion of all June sales to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, which works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine gender identity & expression without facing violence. Gotham's latest campaign also highlights Drew Martin, the iconic herbal-blend preroll brand. Their limited-time offering, One Queer Preroll, will raise funds to support the vital work of GLITS in NYC, which addresses systemic discrimination and health crises faced by transgender and sex worker communities.

Events From June 20-30

On June 20, The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art and fashion brand Travis Taddeo will debut a limited edition capsule collection in honor of Pride Month. The collection features handmade scarves, T-shirts, and tote bags inspired by pioneering transgender actress Candy Darling, with each item celebrating the diverse identities within the LGBTQ+ community. A collaborative campaign, photographed by Deonté Lee, showcases LGBTQ+ community members and talents like Brigette Lundy-Paine and Mugler muse Connie Fleming, taking over the Museum's galleries and office spaces. The collection is available online, at the Museum, and at the Travis Taddeo flagship store in Soho. Proceeds will support the Museum's ongoing and future programming.

On June 22, join plus-size model, artist, and self-described "fat activist" Jordan Underwood for "Fat Beach Day" at the eastern edge of Jacob Riis Beach from 11 am until late. This free event requires no reservations. "We're inviting all the tristate area fat baddies to come celebrate pride and make community with one another at my favorite beach, a historic queer beach in Queens," Underwood shared in a recent interview with Gotham.

Dance the Night Away in Washington Heights

On June 22, from 7 pm to midnight, Radio Hotel in Washington Heights will host a vibrant Pride Party in its expansive 8,000-square-foot outdoor space, El Patio. The event promises an unforgettable night of early evening to late-night dancing, featuring a DJ lineup with tunes from Dada Cozmic and an extravagant drag performance. Hosted in collaboration with Jefetona and Reggaeton Con La Gata by music producer La Gata, the party will offer festive cocktails and contemporary Latin bites from the award-winning restaurant Jalao NYC. On June 22 from 10 pm, head downtown to The Seaport for the Kokonut Party, a Tropical Pride Celebration at Kokos at Pearl Alley, Pier 17. On June 24, from 7 pm to 11 pm, Milady's transforms into MiGAYdy's for their annual Pride party celebrating queer folks in hospitality. On June 26, Jessee O, GLITA NYC, and Jupiter Genesis will host and produce Drag Me to Joanne's Drag Show at Joanne's Trattoria, the eatery famously owned by Lady Gaga's parents, Joe and Cynthia Germanotta. The evening will feature electrifying performances by the dancing diva Mo'Riah and Victoria Holiday, with beats by queen BaeJing. On June 27, from 7 pm to 10 pm, LilliStar, the rooftop bar atop the Moxy Williamsburg, is hosting a Queer Rooftop Experience featuring Atomic Annie, Vidana, and Paloma, with a special appearance by RuPaul's Drag Race star Daya Betty. On June 27, W New York – Times Square and Gaybors Agency will present the first-ever SERVE events during Pride Month. Headlined by various RuPaul's Drag Race performers, this vibrant celebration will feature performances by Salina, Cake Pop, Honey Davenport, and more. The evening includes live DJ sets, Pride-inspired cocktails, and giveaways from LGBTQ+ brands like Fang, BLK MKT Vintage, and more. Two back-to-back shows will be held at 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm in the Living Room, with only 200 tickets available per show. On June 27, from 8 pm to midnight, kick off Parade weekend with the first annual Immersive Pride Celebration at Hall des Lumières in downtown Manhattan. This event promises a captivating experience with dazzling performances, vibrant music, and cutting-edge technology. Hall des Lumières, renowned for its bespoke immersive experiences, will bring the celebration to life with custom Pride-themed color loops displayed by over 130 projectors across three stories. On June 28 and 29, flock to Times Square for Pride in Times Square in collaboration with Playbill. This epic 12-hour event, orchestrated by two of New York's premier promoters, boasts six parties across three stages, featuring incredible talents like Duck Sauce, Aluna, Dombresky, Kaleena Zanders, and more. With cutting-edge art and immersive experiences, all accessible with a single ticket starting at $199, this is an unmissable celebration of Pride. On June 29 & 30, join Classic Harbor Line for two special New York Harbor Pride-themed cruises with 100% of proceeds from ticket sales benefiting the Hetrick-Martin Institute. Enjoy a two-hour cruise on a classic Schooner, with stunning views of NYC landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade Center, and Ellis Island.
