Champion diver & OF star Timo Barthel unveils a special collab…

Timo Barthel just showed off his hottest collab yet before splashing his way to Mexico.

????????????

The German diver and OF star recently unrelieved some new Adidas trunks courtesy of Tom Daley, who has his own swimwear line with the iconic apparel brand. Earlier this summer, Adidas collaborated with the Olympic legend to create a four-piece collection that showcases his love for skimpy swimsuits and knitting.

One of the pairs is a retro knitting-inspired pink and teal graphic, while others are more solidly colored. Barthel was gifted one of the classics: a sleek blue and red speedo with Adidas’ logo on the right side.

How about we take this to the next level?

He was quite pleased with his gift and immediately modeled the bikini.

“Thank you @tomdaley ♥️,” he posted on Instagram.

As one expect, the comments were heavy on emojis.

With hundreds of pics and vids on his active OF page, it’s fair to say Barthel isn’t shy about showing off his tattooed physique. The two-time Olympian is a bit more circumspect about his orientation, telling Outsports he identifies as “human.”

Prior to Paris 2024, Barthel was equally coy. “Humanity is what counts. And love is love. Doesn’t matter which direction,” he wrote in a message.

While Barthel’s words leave room for interpretation, his speedo-clad phots are more direct. As in, we can’t take our eyes off such a beautiful man. We must stare directly at him!

Blame his six-pack and bulging biceps. Our favorite “human” is the total package.

Tom Daley & Trey Cunningham slip into matching speedos together
So about that time Tom Daley and Trey Cunningham hooked up for a collab…

After advancing to the final in his event at the 2024 Paris Games–Barthel finished sixth in the 10-meter platform–he’s experienced ups and downs. He underwent multiple surgeries to address injuries in his wrists and shoulders, completing his last operation in January.

Through it all, he never lost his Olympic spirit.

Barthel referenced his challenging year in a recent post. “They say the darkest nights birth the brightest dawns —but right now, the sky is still heavy, and the stars feel far away,” he wrote.

“Still, I’m not done. There’s time yet. And I won’t let the year write my ending. Not like this.”

This past May, Barthel returned to competition at the European Championships, where he teamed up with fellow German Moritz Linus Wesemann to win the men’s synchronized 3-meter springboard. Previously, Barthel had captured gold in the 10-meter platform at the 2023 European Championships.

In keeping with the trials and tribulations theme, Barhel failed to reach the podium at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships last month in Singapore. He was blunt about his disappointment, but vowed to learn from his experience.

“This World Championships didn’t unfold the way I imagined,” he posted. “It’s not something I want to forget. I want to sit with it, learn from it, and grow. 2028 is closer than it feels, and the work starts now.”

Along with the work, Barthel has found some time for play. He enjoyed an extended holiday in Southeast Asia, soaking in destinations such as Kuala Lumpar, Phuket and Hong Kong.

During his travels, he showed he’s also a Calvins man. European diver Ole Rösler flexed with him.

Like any OF model worth his subscribers, Barthel embraces guest stars. He seems to pose with the hottest divers

With a trip to Mexico slated for next week, we can’t wait to see who shows up next on Barthel’s grid. Perhaps Daley can gift him another skimpy swim trunk in person?

One can hope!
