Berlin’s 45th Pride demonstration started with a bang on Saturday, as hundreds of thousand people supporting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ+) communities took to the streets of the German capital. The parade with some 75 trucks moved through Berlin’s city centre on the 7.4-kilometre route, with participants clad in colourful, neon outfits. The motto was “Be their voice – and ours!
