Kevin Williamson’s hunky partner Victor Turpin is making everyone SCREAM
The 'Scream 7' director gave his boo a role in the film.

Horror maestro Kevin Williamson has a lot to scream about these days.
Over the weekend, Scream 7 – which the out filmmaker wrote and directed – became the highest-grossing installment in the 30-year franchise by grossing over $176 million, per Variety.

Williamson previously wrote the 1996 original, Scream 2 and Scream 4, but this was his first time at the helm of a Ghostface-centered film.
While his professional career looks frighteningly good, Williamson’s personal life is also to die for.
Since 2022, he has been in a relationship with Colombian actor Victor Turpin.
Handsome couple!
Raised in Medellín, Turpin has racked up TV credits since moving to Los Angeles with appearances on Will & Grace, Days of Our Lives, the Jennifer Lopez cop drama Shades of Blue, and the Apple TV series Bad Monkey, among others.
Film roles include Netflix’s Murder Mystery, action thriller Panama, and the 2019 Octavia Spencer horror Ma.
In between performances, it’s safe to say Turpin, who previously dated out actor Luke Evans, has found time to hit the gym.
Although it’s unclear how they met, Williamson and Turpin have a deeper connection than most couples –they both share the same birthday.
Earlier this week, Williamson turned 61 and Turpin hit 44 on March 14th.
Happy birthday, fellas!

And while the couple have stepped out on the red carpet together on multiple occasions, neither has spoken to the press about their romance.
However, a 2025 LA Times article did refer to Turpin as Williamson’s husband, which looks to give their most recent anniversary posts even more meaning.
Back in October, a fan captured Instagram Stories from the couple celebrating their special day.
“You are My accomplice, My best human, My best everything, My Universe, My life, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!” Turpin wrote and tagged Williamson in a photo of the men both sporting scruffy beards in hoodies.
Williamson returned the affection by writing “Happy Anniversary My everything!!!” on a snap of the duo hugging on the beach and tagging Turpin.
Whether it’s a wedding anniversary or commemorating the day they began as a couple, their love is palpable in the pics.
And now the pair have taken their relationship to the big screen.
While making Scream 7, Williamson and Turpin collaborated professionally as the director cast his main man in the role of Deputy Meadows.
Appearing in a handful of scenes opposite Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott and her police officer husband Mark (played by Joel McHale), Turpin recently shared a behind-the-scenes image of his time on the blockbuster sequel.
“Dep. Medows #Scream7 IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!” he captioned an on-set photo sitting in a cop car with a camera operator in full view.
Perhaps we’ll see more of Deputy Meadows in Scream 8. Now the film has yet to be greenlit for another sequel but its recent success makes a follow-up a no-brainer.
However, Williamson has already distanced himself from directing the next installment.
“For the next Scream, I’ll probably step back and just be a part of the family again,” he told Scream fansite Hello Sidney, per The Hollywood Reporter. “Whoever does it will have to let us know. I have some ideas of where it could go, but I’m anxious to see what another storyteller could do with it.”
Williamson has a bunch of other TV projects he’s eager to get started, so his slate is full. Meanwhile, Turpin is staying booked and busy having just appeared on season 4 of the Fox sitcom Animal Control.
Regardless of who winds up behind the Ghostface mask, one thing is for sure, Williamson and Turpin will continue to make one killer couple.
