Saturday, May 18th, kicks off with a four-hour drag brunch featuring local performers and a live DJ set, all to be enjoyed while sipping on several expertly crafted cocktails. The Alize Stone cocktail looks dangerously good with passionfruit liquor, cranberry juice, lime, and a healthy dose of vodka. If you’re feeling adventurous, order a Margarita flight and taste the rainbow! Tajin rim, anyone?!
More than just music
The party doesn’t stop there, though; on Sunday from 12:00-3:00 PM, Mariachi Arcoiris de Los Angeles, the first LGBTQ+ mariachi band, will be performing classic Latin-American hits with a few LGBTQ+ favorites thrown in. This spectacular group of musicians has performed worldwide and strives to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere among mariachi artists. Among their ranks is Natalia Melendez, the first transgender mariachi player in the world! Don’t miss out on the magical and joyful environment they create through their love of music.
Car lovers unite!
Additionally, on Sunday from 11:00-5:00 PM, the streets below the hotel will be taken over by the largest LGBQT+ car club on the West Coast. Since 1983, the Great Autos LGBTQ+ Car Club has created a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community to gather socially and explore their shared love of classic motors. With over 1,000 members and double the number of gorgeous vintage cars, this is a fun and welcoming event for all auto enthusiasts to enjoy!
Maya Mania Pride will be a wild weekend of joy and community, celebrating the vibrant colors of the LGBTQ+ rainbow. Tell us how it goes!
