Six Flags Magic Mountain Is About To Get Really Gay for ‘Out on the Mountain’

Six Flags Magic Mountain will once again transform into a celebration of pride and community when it hosts “Out on the Mountain,” a private LGBTQ+ party on Friday, Aug. 22.
The annual after-hours event, organized in partnership with Ray Rhodes and Out Ventures, welcomes guests from across Southern California and beyond to enjoy the full theme park experience, from 6 p.m. to midnight—exclusively for LGBTQ+ attendees and their allies.
Held at Six Flags Magic Mountain, located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia, the party features unlimited access to all rides and attractions, along with live entertainment, DJ sets, and special guest performances. Tickets are on sale now at OutontheMountain.com.
This year’s entertainment lineup includes performances from drag superstar Kerri Colby, as well as music from Ray Rhodes, DR SRO, and DJ Les Ortiz. Partygoers can expect an electric atmosphere set to pulse with music, celebration, and community spirit.
Tickets for the event start at $65, while a VIP Package priced at $150 includes exclusive perks such as front-of-the-line access and additional amenities. Complimentary parking is included for all attendees. Alcoholic beverages including spirits, beer, and wine will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Beyond the festivities, “Out on the Mountain” also aims to make an impact, with a portion of proceeds supporting several LGBTQ+ organizations.
