Fall decor is starting to make the rounds, and rumored sightings of maple-scented candles have increased exponentially. That can only mean one thing: Cardigans are about to make a comeback in a big way. Ah, and Halloween. October is here, people!

If you haven’t already picked out your Halloween costume, then now might be the time. Thankfully, you have numerous viral and pop culture moments to pick from this year. However, if you don’t live for Halloween, and you’re just looking for a party, then don’t fear. There’s something for you this month, too.

In fact, we have a whole list of both Halloween and non-Halloween-related events that we’re just dying to share with you. Let’s dig in, shall we?

Featured Events in October

Atlanta Pride

Downtown Atlanta

Atlanta Pride

Though it doesn’t last long, Atlanta Pride is one of the most important LGBTQ+ events of the South. Starting with the Friday night kickoff party and ending with the DILF Tea Dance, Atlanta Pride has no shortage of incredible events. Of course, there’s the Pride March and rotating calendar of circuit parties to prepare for as well. And if the “G” part of LGBTQ+ doesn’t quite cut it for you, there’s also a Trans March, Dyke March, and Bi & Pan March. As for where to stay, the Courtyard Midtown is a good choice. But really, anywhere downtown is a good bet.

West Hollywood Halloween Carnival

Visitors can expect fantastic live entertainment and food vendors. Admission is free and the event starts at 6 PM and runs until 11 PM. You can also expect live entertainment on multiple dedicated stages, food vendors and access to the many bars, lounges, clubs and restaurants along the Halloween Carnaval route.
