It’s been over a year since 9-1-1: Lone Star wrapped up its intense fourth season, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter. This 9-1-1 spinoff, now a staple on ABC, continues to follow the dramatic lives of firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers in Austin, Texas.
Initially slated for midseason, Fox pushed the season to 2024-2025 due to the actors’ and writers’ strikes in the summer of 2023.

Insider, describing the intense and challenging shoot: “The scale and spectacle of the train derailment are incredible. It’s a brutal, backbreaking grind, but I love it. It looks like a movie, and I think people are going to be blown away.”
