After latest photo drop from Epstein estate, everyone’s wondering the same thing about Mike Johnson

Congress is adjoured for the year...but there's still unfinished business

As the world waits breathlessly for the Epstein files to finally be released later today, we’re busy grappling with some of the photos that came out of the Epstein estate drop yesterday. These photos are just as chilling and explicit as you might imagine, and they reveal straightforward evidence of what we already knew about Epstein and the powerful, horrible men in his circle.

It’s only a matter of time before the files themselves become public knowledge, but in anticipation of the drop later tonight, Mike Johnson sent Congress home in a deeply suspicious move that already has people talking. That is, if they weren’t talking already. Even Fox News noted that Johnson has “completely lost control” of the house, and it’s no wonder why. In an attempt to ignore the elephant in the room, he’s managed to pour gasoline over it.

But as much as Johnson tries to tamp down the inevitable sh*tstorm caused by the Epstein files release, what we’ve seen from the estate is already quite terrifying. The democratic oversight committee released about 70 new photos from a full collection of “tens of thousands” of images previously kept under wraps. What we see in those photos are, predictably, horrifying.

How about we take this to the next level?

Images and texts from the files show young girls being straightforwardly “purchased” by high-paying men, children with phrases from the novel Lolita written across their bodies, and other disturbing content.

Speaking to several democrats in congress, Under the Desk News reported that members of the oversight committee believe that despite the legal mandate to release the files by midnight tonight, the Department of Justice will continue to drag their heels and stall for as long as possible.

The good news, however, is that the damage has already been done. Along with photos of Bill Gates, Woody Allen, and Noam Chomsky at Epstein gatherings, the estate photos also heavily feature former Trump staffer Steve Bannon.

There’s another intriguing aspect to the case: as Under the Desk News explains, in Epstein’s “broader community of horror,” there were also boys and men who were trafficked and SA’ed. In 2021, a Queens man known only as MH came forward to claim that he was a direct victim of Epstein when he interned for the sex trafficker in 2013 and 2014. At the time, MH was still in high school.

We don’t know exactly what will become public knowledge when the files drop (if they ever drop.) But we do know that people have theories.

“Blackmail is how Trump is controlling Mike Johnson,” one commenter theorized.

“Bannon and Epstein were discussing Kavanaugh’s appointment,” another wrote, referring to associate justice of the Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh, who likes beer.

Johnson might want congress to adjourn early for the holidays to avoid the inevitable backlash caused by these estate photos, but it’s not going to work. These images are now easily viewable by the public, and the conversations that are starting around them aren’t likely to die out by January 5th, when congress goes back in session.
