Celebrate Miami Beach Pride with Sandra Bernhard at Special VIP Beach Affair
It might just be spring, but it’s sizzling in South Florida as the LGBTQ+ community celebrates the 15th annual Miami Beach Pride now through next weekend.The festivities are already in full swing, but the best is yet to come with the VIP Beach Affair presented by La Crema at Lummus Park and hosted by actress, singer, comedian, author, and LGBTQ+ icon Sandra Bernhard. The VIP Beach Affair starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 14, and kicks off the Miami Beach Pride Festival taking place on Saturday and Sunday, April 15-16. The Miami Beach Pride Parade will take place Sunday, April 16.Bernhard, the star of American Horror Story and the 1982 cult classic film King of Comedy, will be joined onstage by two-time Grammy winner and Emmy-recipient, Albita, and 2023 Grand Marshals Jonathan Bennett, Jaymes Vaughan, and Jazzmun, among others. In addition to mouthwatering Cuban light bites by executive chef iChef and an open bar in the Delta VIP Lounge, guests will also receive early access to the festival ground a day before it officially opens and special VIP viewing platforms for an immersive experience into the 2023 theme of “Havana Nights.” The Miami Beach Pride Festival starts at noon on Saturday, April 15, at Lummus Park and the two-day event will feature two stages and a jam-packed lineup of world-class celebrity entertainers, DJs, and special events. The Miami Beach Pride Festival will include performances from Paloma Mami & Osmani Garcia (Saturday), Todrick Hall and Shangla (Sunday) at the AT&T entertainment stage and DJ Whitney Day ft Mindy Jones (Saturday) and DJ Tony Moran (Sunday) on the TD Bank Stage, and will be immediately followed by a send-off spectacular drone show, sponsored by IMG Health Clinic and Sky Elements Drones.
