Cheyenne Jackson is heading to Fire Island … and he knows the perfect way to promote his appearance.

Jackson, who turned 50 on the weekend, posted a thirsty photo of himself, ripped and muscular, on his Instagram. The accompanying caption said, “I’m just a boy, standing in front of an algorithm, asking you to buy tickets to my show in #FireIsland on JULY 26. #CherryGrove”

Jackson will be appearing at the Ice Palace on Saturday, July 26th.

Jackson is a multi-talented hyphenate. Although probably best known for appearances on TV shows such as 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, American Horror Story, and Call Me Kat, he first made waves on Broadway.

Raised in Idaho, Jackson studied theater in Spokane before relocating to New York to pursue his dreams in 2001.

With his model-like looks and commanding stage presence, Jackson quickly won roles in a range of theatrical productions. He made his Broadway debut as an understudy for both the male leads in the Tony Award-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie.

He picked up several award nominations for his first Broadway leading role, playing Chad in the Elvis tribute, All Shook Up (2005). More acclaim followed for his appearances in Xanadu, Damn Yankees, and Finian’s Rainbow.

He recently led a revival of La Cage Aux Folles at the Pasadena Playhouse. Expect a debut Cherry Grove performance packed with classic show tunes.

Ice Palace

The Ice Palace (1 Main Walk, Cherry Grove, NY 11782) is one of Fire Island’s most iconic club spaces. It’s been running for over 55 years, but was taken over by new management a couple of years back, and they spruced the place up a bit.

Besides pulling in the crowds with its pumping sounds, it’s also renowned for booking top-notch cabaret. Past names include Joey Arias, Alaska, and other Drag Race alum. It’s open from 8am for daytime service.
