The Drag Race legend turned the wildly popular Los Angeles party Maurice, which only plays music heard in gay clubs between 1977 -1989, into a full on Tina Turner experience. Decked out in her finest Private Dancer ’80s eleganza and filmed by photographer Kit Karzen, Symone blew the roof off the The Globe Theater in DTLA with powerhouse performances of “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “I Can’t Stand the Rain,” “Nutbush City Limits,” and “The Best.” It’s safe to say everyone in the club was high on Tina!
