Drag Race star Yvie Oddly has spilled some pipping hot tea on the unaired reunion for All Stars 7.
Back in May 2022, Mama Ru and company released the highly anticipated all-winners season of the beloved spin-off.
Throughout its 12-episode run, former champions – Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monét X Change, Raja, Shea Couleé, Trinity the Tuck, Yvie and The Vivienne – battled it out for the coveted crown.
While all the competitors delivered unforgettable moments throughout the season, Jinkx came out on top, becoming the show’s first-ever Queen of All Queens and the winner of $200,000.
Since the All Stars 7 finale, some of the cast have shared juicy behind-the-scenes tea about the season, including the existence of an unaired reunion.
During a recent appearance on Drag Tea Interviews with Matt, season 11 winner Yvie shared new details about the mysterious sit-down, which was hosted by Bob the Drag Queen.
When asked if the reunion was blocked from airing, the beloved talent replied: “It is true. It exists. When Bob the Drag Queen dies, the FBI will hack her computer, and they will post the unaired All Stars 7 reunion.”
She went on to reveal that the reunion featured most of the queens “airing their grievances about how the competition felt rigged around.”
“And then we get affirmations from the one person that it would have mattered from,” she added.
Elsewhere in the interview, Yvie confirmed that the All Stars 7 reunion was not filmed under WOW Presents Plus, which explains why it has yet (or will ever) air.
“We just did it on our own because you know who would have guessed this, but a bunch of winners secretly had more things to say about the season than was ever shown,” she continued.
“And I actually think that 90% of the reunion would have been like ‘hmmmm’ for people. I know I would have been the star of the reunion.”
While the ‘Topsy Turvey’ singer refrained from providing additional details about their meeting, she did reveal that Jinx agreed with their complaints.
“Can you imagine the impact of Jinkx coming out and saying: ‘I agree with you,’ in a reunion about all these people who otherwise could be edited as jealous [b****es] just trying to tear her down? That would have been impactful if such a thing existed,” she added.
Yvie’s recent interview isn’t the first time she’s publically critiqued All Stars 7.
Shortly after the season finished, the ‘Gigging’ artist took to Instagram to call out the series for not showing “even a quarter of the REAL journey” the cast experienced.
“TBH, my experience was pretty gruesome from the start,” Yvie told fans. “And while you can be assured that ‘none of that will make the edit’, it doesn’t change anything in the moment,” she added.
A few months later, Yvie gave further insight into her dissatisfaction with the show, telling Them: “I was really disappointed having to go through this experience again, because I felt like there was a lack of any sort of reality or humanity in what I got,” she explained.
The star further described their portrayal in the edit as “lobotomised and presented as some goofy big-dicked mascot” who was bravely laughing through her chronic illness and “happy to be along for the ride.”
