Do you love theme parks? The annual Out On The Mountain party returns to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California on Friday, August 21. The park lies in Valencia, just outside Santa Clarita and around 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Now in its 19th year, Out On The Mountain is a private, all-ages party exclusively for the LGBTQ community and friends. Besides access to the rides, you can expect drag performances and dance parties.

Special guests for 2026 include April Carrión and Jessica Wild from RuPaul’s Drag Race, DJs Ray Rhodes, SRO, and Casey Alva, among others.

The private party runs from 6pm until midnight. However, if you arrive before 6pm, show your Out on the Mountain ticket at the Pride table before the gate to get a wristband to allow all-day attendance.

Tickets cost $74 (which includes free parking). There are also $160 VIP packages, which include a golden wristband for front-of-the-line ride access from 6pm-midnight, among other perks. A portion of the proceeds go toward helping local LGBTQ organizations in Southern California.

The 260-acre Six Flags Magic Mountain is famed for its range of rides, which includes some of the tallest, fastest, steepest coasters and thrilling attractions in the world, including ‘Apocalypse’ and Batman: The Ride.
