Life is Beautiful Celebrates 10 Years By Announcing LGBTQ+ Parties
Now this is fighting for gay rights!Life is Beautiful is back for a milestone 10th year in Downtown Las Vegas and the festival is making sure all kinds of fans are feeling the love.Taking place September 22-24, Life is Beautiful is partnering with the newly opened Queen Las Vegas to turn up the heat with the introduction of DISCO QUEEN, a weekend-long celebration of inclusion at Fergusons Downtown.With a Pride parade kicking off the festivities on Friday, September 22, the space will also host drag performances by iconic queens from RuPaul's Drag Race, along with high-energy DJ sets, talented dancers, and much more. See on Instagram The space will also host surprise pop-up performances and sexy go-go dancers, along with fiercely competitive twerk competitions.In addition to the sickening performances at Queen Las Vegas, Life is Beautiful is also highlighting LGBTQ+ mainstream talent with musical performances from The 1975, Kim Petras, Bebe Rexha, Omar Apollo, Slayyyter, Reneé Rapp, Rina Sawayama, and many more.Eduardo Cordova, who owns Queen Las Vegas, is thrilled to bring an LGBTQ+ space to the iconic festival."It's one of my favorite festivals. It's such an inclusive festival celebrating life. I've always wanted to have a designated stage. This year, finally, we are able to have a queer stage! Different vendors are also involved so you can make your own fan and put some glitter on. You're in your own little gay bar. It's going to a party."In typical Vegas fashion, the party doesn't stop each night the festival ends. Cordova encourages LGBTQ+ patrons and allies to check out Queen Las Vegas following the fun at LIB."Being the official LGBTQ+ partner, the festival ends at midnight. We have the official gay afterparty down the street! We have great programming throughout the weekend. Doing collaborations like Life is Beautiful are so important.
