Ouch! Andy Cohen mistaken for his daughter’s grandfather on her first day at school

Your child’s first day at school is always a memorable milestone. Unfortunately, for Bravo chat show host and producer Andy Cohen, it turned memorable for the wrong reasons.
Cohen, 58, has two kids: Benjamin, aged 7, and Lucy, aged 4. In a new Instagram post, he revealed he’d gone to pick up Lucy on her first day of school. Another young child approached Cohen and asked him, “Are you her grandpa?”
He tells his daughter that he informed the other child he was her father. Cohen then asks Lucy, “Am I your grandpa?” and she replies, “Yes!”

“What a day,” exclaims a crestfallen Cohen.
The video earned over 87k likes.
“Welcome to the male version of ‘is that a baby in your tummy?’” was a well-liked response from one woman.
“Kids will humble you real fast 
,” commented Lesa Milan (of The Real Housewives of Dubai).
Another woman said, “I had my youngest at 42. One of my son’s friends came over for a play date and at one point said, ‘My mom said you’re the oldest Mom in the whole 4th grade!’”
Others said that Cohen only looks old because of his thick head of grey hair, and suggested it was time for him to invest in a hat for the school run. Cohen took this in his stride and agreed that he “needs hats!”
New man
Cohen recently made headlines after revealing to the world that he has a new man in his life: Financier and businessman Kevin Sobieski.
Paparazzi first captured photos of Cohen and Sobieski, 42, enjoying a dinner date on Cohen’s birthday at the start of June. Cohen confirmed on his Radio Andy show a week later that they were dating. He revealed they’d actually met almost a year earlier at a friend’s 4th of July party in the Hamptons.
They hit it off immediately but kept their relationship out of the spotlight for almost a whole year.
“This man is kind and strong and smart, and he’s an adult, and he loves my children. And they love him. And I love him. We have been so slow and deliberate, and methodical about getting to know each other, and introducing him to the kids, and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly. And I have to say, it has been so easy.”
Cohen shared his first photo of himself and Sobieski, who works in finance, to his Instagram grid in late July.
