Symone and Gigi Goode have opened up about a potential return to the Drag Race universe.
Since its debut in 2009, the beloved franchise has ruled the pop culture sphere with its hilarious maxi-challenges, sickening runways, and, most importantly, its bevvy of showstopping drag talent.
Two queens who have continued to captivate fans following their respective Drag Race runs have been season 13 winner Symone and season 12 runner-up Gigi.
Since appearing in the beloved series, their stars have continued to rise, with the duo walking in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty runway show and landing cameo appearances in films and music videos.
Symone and Gigi have also found success with their own reality TV show on WOW Presents Plus, Avalon TV.
With their careers showing no signs of slowing down, the beloved performers recently opened up to PRIDE about their future with the Drag Race franchise.
When asked if they would be open to returning for a new season, Symone admitted to being open to the idea. However, she added that it wouldn’t happen anytime soon.
“I love RuPaul, so I would never say never. I still feel like I have a little bit more to experience [before] I were to ever go back. As of right now, I don’t think so, but never say never,” she explained.
Gigi echoed similar sentiments, revealing that she was content with where her Drag Race journey concluded.
“I felt very good about who I was and what I delivered on the season. I don’t know that I have much more to prove. It would be more so to be c*nt. If RuPaul called me personally, [then] I’m in,” she said.
While only time will tell if Symone and Gigi will return to the Drag Race workroom, the duo have their hands full with the release of Avalon TV season two.
Premiering on 12 August, the new batch of episodes will see the beloved talents and their creative collective, The House of Avalon, travel the world as they jump off buildings, attend fashion shows and take over Las Vegas.
Of course, the new season will feature some drama and a string of celebrity guests, like rapper Doechii, Fire Island‘s Zane Phillips, America’s Next Top Model star Janis Dickinson and more.
In addition to Symone and Good, Avalon TV season two will feature the return of Marko Monroe, Hunter Crenshaw, Grant Vanderbilt, Caleb, and Rylie.
