The Times Of Israel reported yesterday:
Caitlyn Jenner, visiting Israel for the Tel Aviv Pride Parade, tells reporters at a press conference that she is doing her part to change people’s perceptions of the Jewish state.
“I was in Israel years ago and I had such a wonderful time and I met the nicest, friendliest people in any country I’ve ever been to in my life,” says Jenner. “And, I thought, some day I’d really like to come back.”
The transgender influencer, Olympic gold medalist and right-wing pundit landed in Israel earlier today ahead of her appearance as guest of honor at Tel Aviv’s LGBTQ Pride Parade, the largest such event in the Middle East.
Ynet News reports:
Tel Aviv’s annual Pride Parade, one of the largest public events in Israel, has been canceled due to escalating security concerns following Israel’s overnight military offensive against Iran, officials announced Friday.
The cancellation comes amid fears of a large-scale Iranian response to Operation Rising Lion, launched by Israel early Friday to target Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure.
The IDF confirmed that over 200 fighter jets struck multiple locations across Iran, including key nuclear sites and hideouts of senior military leaders, killing top Iranian commanders.
The New Arab reports:
Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner has been accused ‘pinkwashing’ Israeli crimes against Palestinians by visiting the Tel Aviv Pride Parade and the site of the 7 October 2023 attack.
The transgender celebrity and gold medalist was invited as a guest of honour at Tel Aviv’s annual LGBTQ Pride Parade where she said, “the second biggest pride event in the world is in Tel Aviv…Israeli people are open-minded, friendly, they’re great for the LGBTQ community and nobody knows this”.
She added that by being there, she hopes to “change people’s minds about what Israel is really about”. The comments garnered some scorn, with many pointing towards videos and information showing Israeli war crimes committed against Palestinians.
Who the fuck invited her?

For the first time ever, the Trump Administration has directed the U.S. Embassy in Israel to boycott the Tel Aviv Pride parade, the largest LGBTQ+ event in the Middle East.
This is a shameful decision and betrays our shared values of inclusion and equality. pic.twitter.com/izGusi9Otv

Poor Caitlyn Jenner flew all the way to Israel for Tel Aviv Pride and it got canceled. She did get to take a photo with my niece on the boardwalk though. pic.twitter.com/hIIBexgWhX

It was a pleasure to meet @Caitlyn_Jenner today.
Her visit to Tel Aviv during Pride week is a meaningful gesture of solidarity with our local LGBTQ+ community and with Israel.
Thank you for standing with us and celebrating freedom and equality in Tel Avivpic.twitter.com/YMAp08x126

“The U.S. Embassy in Israel will be boycotting this year’s Pride parade in Tel Aviv and other local Pride activities in line with new policies established by the Trump administration.” pic.twitter.com/uxAUPmWiDw
