The gays are sharing a hard truth about messy men

There's just something about a thick-thighed man in an extraordinarily messy space...

In the queer community, some discourse never dies. If we don’t want to lose our ancient texts, we have to keep repeating certain time-honored truths for the next generation, however unpleasant they may be. It’s called mentorship!

One such truth is particularly hard to swallow, yet we must bravely face up to it: the best hookups are often with the messiest men. We don’t make the rules! There’s just something about a messy room that promises a profound bedroom experience, and on X/Twitter, the gays are still trying to come to terms with this distressing truth.

Why else would a 3-year-old post from Argentinian YouTuber Gaspi still be making the rounds if this weren’t the case?

How about we take this to the next level?

To look at this photo, you wouldn’t immediately understand the reason for the thirst. But once you understand the lore, it all becomes clear.

In 2020, an image of a very hot man in a very messy room caught on fire after Twitter users started sharing the photo with captions imagining what said man might be typing. And one response gave birth to a Tumblr post that now lives rent-free in our minds.

“If his room looks like this,” one user wrote, “you’re about to get some good d*ck, and I don’t like that I’m right either.”

Sad, but true. And this week, fans of the genre were asked to choose their player in no uncertain terms. A real Sophie’s Choice!

The responses were every bit as out of pocket as you could imagine.

The thirst is real for both men, but people are getting extremely creative in findings ways to express their love for Gaspi.

There’s just something about a thick-thighed man in an extraordinarily messy space…

The key phrase here is “seemingly straight.”

We don’t know why this tweet from three years ago suddenly showed back up on the timeline, but we’re very glad it did. Messy men deserve love, too, and it looks like there’s more than enough love here to go around.
