The spookiest looks from Grindr’s ‘Garden of Otherworldly Delights’ in NYC
Grindr’s second annual Pleasure Ball came to New York’s Flatiron district.

Dating app Grindr held its second annual Pleaure Ball in New York City on Thursday, October 23. The pre-Halloween extravaganza took place at Iron23 in the Flatiron district.
The venue was transformed into a lush garden, in keeping with the app’s theme for the evening: ‘The Garden of Otherworldly Delights’. It attracted a number of social media influencers, models and celebrities, including the Zakar twins, drag queen Aquaria, Edvin Thompson, Slayyyter and Madison Rose.

Entertainment was provided by Slayyter and Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters. The latter sang “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’” and “Filthy/Gorgeous”.

“Halloween’s always been the gay high holiday – a night for transformation, creativity, and a bit of chaos,” said Shears in a press statement. “Performing at Grindr’s Pleasure Ball feels like diving back into that downtown magic I love.”

The company also used the event to showcase its new capsule collection produced in conjunction with CHRISHABANA. The three-piece collection included ‘The Heavy Metal Jock’ (a chain jock with laser-cut detailing), ‘The Adam Harness’ (a leather harness with reclining male figures), and the ‘Prick and Thorn Grip Chain necklace’. The items are available on the Grindr website and within the Grindr app.
