Check out a literal sea of men at Circuit Festival in Barcelona
Have you ever seen several thousand queer men in one pool at the same time?

The week-long Circuit Festival in Barcelona, Spain, concluded this past weekend (August 9-17). The annual event offers a different party each day, featuring top club brands including Matinee, Megawoof, and Amsterdam’s Rapido.
DJs who took part in this year’s clubbing extravaganza included Enrico Meloni, Daz Saund, Ivan Gomez, Nacho Chapado, Pagano, Tom Stephan, and Oliver Croft, among many others.

Besides the indoor club events, the highlight for many included the various pool parties. In particular, last week’s pool bash at the Illa Fantasia waterpark attracted several thousand partygoers. The festivities kicked off at 10am. Within hours, the main pool was heaving with bodies in Speedos. The partying didn’t stop until 5am the next morning!

For many, one of the best aspects of Circuit Festival is the chance to meet new friends and to catch up with old ones.
“What I love about the Circuit Festival in Barcelona is meeting people from all over the world and also those familiar faces you recognize from Instagram or other parties,” Andrew (@10Andrew89) told GayCities. “The reunions are always great: catching up, dancing, and celebrating together. For me, Circuit is all about kindness and good vibes. And I love experiencing the festival across so many different locations.”

The organizers of Circuit Festival in Barcelona also organize a similar massive event in Asia. That’s set to take place June 19-21, 2026, in Pattaya, Thailand. Next year’s Barcelona date is set for August 1-9, 2026.
