Crumbl’s Sawyer Hemsley claps back at claims he’s his boyfriend’s “Botoxed Rich Daddy”

Sawyer Hemsley, the co-founder and Chief Brand Officer of Crumbl, has responded to a social media critic of his new relationship.
You may remember the 33-year-old Hemsley came out as gay in August following a viral TikTok from comedian Grant Gibbs. Around a month after coming out, the Utah resident shared photos of a special man in his life: a 30-year-old realtor named Antonio Bruno.

Since then, the couple have posted several images together on their respective Instagrams, along with sweet messages.
Hemsley has also helped promote Bruno’s work as a realtor, including this new pic of some Antonio Bruno merchandise.
“Old botoxed rich daddy boyfriend”
These public displays of love and support appear to have irritated some people. One person posted a comment knocking Bruno. You and your fake AB ‘real estate’ company because you have an old botoxed rich daddy boyfriend,” he said.
Hemsley took to Instagram earlier this week and reposted the rude remark.
In an accompanying caption, Hemsley wrote, “Apparently I’ve been promoted to ‘old botoxed rich daddy boyfriend’ and honestly..I laughed way too hard not to share. 
He continued, “Truthfully, moments like this make me feel a little sad for people who spend their time trying to tear strangers down online. But if leaving comments like this gives them a sense of happiness, I guess I’m okay being part of that joy. These don’t get to me they genuinely make me smile.”
Hemsley went on to suggest the old adage is true: there’s no such thing as bad publicity.
“I know there are entire corners of the internet dedicated to talking about me, and I’ll never understand why someone would obsess over an individual when they could be out living a full, beautiful life of their own. But hey.. thanks for the free PR, even if it’s negative,” he said.
Hemsley added he wants to be referred to by his new name: “Old Botoxed Rich Daddy Boyfriend
.”
Founding Crumbl and coming out
Crumbl, based in Utah, was founded in 2017 by Hemsley and his cousin, Jason McGowan. Since then, the cookie franchise has grown into a national giant with over 1,000 locations, partnering with A-list celebs like Kylie Jenner and Olivia Rodrigo.
It has clearly made Hemsley a fortune. This year, he took up residency in a stunning Utah mansion that he had designed.
As for coming out, Hemsley said in August, “Over the past little while, there have been people online trying to define me, twist things, and share conversations in ways that feel harmful. Instead of letting others write my story, I want to share it in my own words.
“The truth is, over the past few years I’ve come to understand and accept that I’m gay,” Hemsley continued. “It’s taken me a long time to really process this part of myself and even longer to feel comfortable enough to say it out loud. For most of my life, I didn’t have the clarity to answer the questions or respond to the rumors. Coming to terms with it has been overwhelming and, at times, scary — but it has also brought me peace, joy, and authenticity that I wouldn’t trade for anything.”
