Heath Thorpe certainly doesn’t have a shortage of gay fans. The out gay Australian gymnast has made a name for himself over the last few years with his world-class performances in his sport, as well as taking off his shirt and sharing pics on Instagram.

Thankfully for his biggest gay fans, Thorpe and other elite gymnasts are able to deliver both over and over again. This week, he is not disappointing. And he’s offering a funny take to kick it all off.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Heath Thorpe warned his followers that the thirst traps he’s known for, and for which he’s attracted over 150k followers, will be pausing.

Of course, the joke is that no matter what Thorpe posts, it is a thirst trap. As a gymnast with a world-class body, just training and competing on the rings, on the high bar, on the floor exercise all lead to photos that make his gay fans swoon.
Of course, those may not quite compete with his posts of his rocking body in a speedo on the beach, but they’re up there.

At 19, he competed at 2019 World Cup event in Melbourne…
Now at age 25…
Whatever Thorpe is doing with his diet and in the gym, it’s working for him.
It’s also working for his competitive career. Thorpe has won various medals at the Oceania Championships over the last few years, including two individual golds. He’s also won several individual events at the Australian National Championships and won the all-around in 2023.
The 2025 World University Games take place this week in Essen, Germany, about 50 miles north of Cologne.
