There’s been a run on cowboy boots, crop tops, and glitter, no one was in town this weekend, and our Instagram feeds have been filled with pics of THAT rainbow tower, which can only mean one thing: It’s Coachella season.

Every spring, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival descends on Coachella Valley, a small city just 30 minutes outside of Palm Springs, as more than 600,000 visitors from across the world flock to the desert for two packed weekends of music.

This year’s lineup features a sprawling selection of pop heavy hitters, like Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Addison Rae, alongside legacy acts like The Strokes and Iggy Pop, as well as genre pioneers like Karol G and Young Thug.

Of course, we’d be remiss not to mention our fave LGBTQ+ acts like KATSEYE, Ethel Cain, Gigi Perez, Blood Orange, and the Bob Baker Marionettees, which are technically an ensemble of puppets, but nonetheless, queer-coded.

And while Coachella is perhaps the most famous music festival in the world, there’s an unspoken rule among its attendees: Your weekend is only as good as your outfit.

Ahead of Weekend Two (April 17-19), we scrolled through every IG photo dump we could find from last week to count down our favorite gay (and gay-friendly!) fits. You know, in case you’re looking for some inspo, or suffering from a severe case of FOMO.
