Rio de Janeiro has regular gay sex parties. Here’s how to find them.

Macho Man Club

A large old mansion hosts one of Rio’s most famous parties. It has cabins, glory holes, dark rooms, a maze, collective suites, a dance floor, bars, and a panoramic terrace for smokers with an interesting view of the old town. One of the party’s features is the one-hour open bar, karaoke, a free meal to replenish your energy, and various shows that vary with each edition. They usually occur on Sundays and can be held weekly or fortnightly, with a capacity of up to 500 people. Clothing is optional; attendees can be partially dressed or naked if preferred. Macho Man is practically the only party that doesn’t have live sex shows; the focus is on (sexual) interaction between customers.

Black Cat

Located a few steps from Copacabana Beach, the Black Cat party has a variety of attractions: sexy bartenders, a dark room, DJs, an open bar for a few hours, a comedy show with drag queens, and sometimes live sex. The party takes place on different dates, including during the week.

Chupps

Twice a month, the sauna in the central region hosts two themed parties. During the week, the three-story house, with its various rooms, also has a varied schedule. At one of the parties, the dress code is sunbathing or naked, strippers who interact with the crowd and bartenders. At the other party, there’s an open bar, go-go boys, a drag show, and lots of music with DJs on the two dance floors. The sauna has already scheduled a party for after Carnival in March 2025 dedicated especially to Black men and their admirers.

Taurus Bar

An exclusive space for men, the two-story bar in the city center has a dark room, video rooms, a glory hole, mazes, cabins, a dance floor, and an outdoor area. The schedule is very diverse and always features the country’s most famous porn stars. Unlike other clubs, it’s open from Friday to Monday, and usually with a double dose of drinks.

Seven Cruising Bar

It’s a popular cruising bar in Rio to drink a cold beer, have fun, and have sex. It’s one of the few places open daily from morning until night, ideal for men who want to get away at lunchtime or who already have a companion but don’t have the place. There are no rent boys. Seven has consolidated its interactive live sex shows in Brazil with porn stars such as the international actor Vicktor Room. Customers can dress as they like (with clothes on, underwear, or even naked), but at themed parties, you have to follow the requested dress code. During Carnival, the bar is open 24 hours a day.

Kabalk

Although it’s a sauna, it has events with hands-on go-go boys to entertain clients. In addition to the steam bath, there are cabins, a bar, and showers. Located in the north zone but close to the center, it is easily accessible by transport app.

Encontrus Rogger

The house is a man’s complex with a swimming pool, sauna, showers, darkroom, video room, and other areas. One of the parties is dedicated to the bear community and their admirers, while another is for nudists (obligatory), as well as erotic shows and open-bar beer.
