Tom Daley unveils his new swimwear line just in time for vacation season
The British diver also enjoys a whirlwind 24-hour trip to New York City.

British Olympic diver Tom Daley this week unveiled a new brand collaboration with the sports giant, adidas. The gold-medal winner has worked with the brand on a new swimwear range.
It includes four pieces that feature bold graphics inspired by Daley’s love of knitting.
The collection includes swimming trunks, 5-inch swimming briefs, a one-piece, and a two-piece bikini.

Crafted from adidas’ own Infinitex material, the brand says they’re perfect for pool or sea swimming thanks to chlorine and salt water-resistance.
In a press statement, Daley, 31, said, “I wanted this collection to be fun, expressive and allow people to celebrate their individuality. Whether it’s competing, training, exercising, or playing – the water is a space for everyone. My love of knitting is well-publicized, but I hope everyone will agree that we have used that design inspiration, to create a unique fashion-forward look, that people will feel equally confident wearing in and out of the water.”
He’s also posted an Instagram reel in which he highlights the designs further.
Unfortunately, although the whole collection is available in Europe, only the men’s shorts and the bikini are available on the US adidas website at the time of writing (both retailing for $50). Sizes range from XS to 3XL. If you want the speedo-style trunks, you might have to ask your Europe-based friends for help!

From the UK to LA
Daley grew up in Plymouth, England. He now lives primarily in Los Angeles with his husband, Dustin Lance Black, and their two sons, Robbie and Phoenix.
Daley retired from swimming after the Paris Olympics last year. He was a guest this week on the Dinner’s On Me podcast with Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson. It’s a great listen, with Daley talking about fatherhood, falling in love quickly with Dustin when they first met, and the challenges he faced as a teenager competing in the Olympics.
Daley’s been busy in recent weeks promoting a documentary about his life called 1.6 Seconds (that’s the time it takes to hit the water from a 10m diving board). Check him out below on a recent, whirlwind 24 hours in New York City.
