Players with AS Monaco just got themselves lots of gay fans. The players on the pro soccer club based in, you guessed it, Monaco decided to strip to their underwear on a flight because it got exceptionally hot due to a malfunction of the air conditioning system.
The club was preparing to fly to Brugge, Belgium, for a UEFA Champions League matchup with Club Brugge. Before takeoff, the AC had clearly failed, and it got HOT HOT HOT!
So the players stripped to their underwear and decided to give everyone online a show, recording video and sharing it on social media.

Some of the guys can be seen smiling and laughing in the video, so at least they seem to have taken it in stride and had a good attitude about the whole bizarre episode.
Folarin Balogun’s AS Monaco had to reschedule their flight to Bruges due to a lack of air conditioning on the plane. Players had to strip down to stay cool.

The plane crew apparently had no choice but to turn around and return to the gate.
“For technical reasons, it was impossible to travel, as everyone’s safety was not guaranteed,” Monaco coach Adi Hütter said, according to The Independent.
“I’ve never experienced that before, but there are some circumstances that you have no influence over. For us, it was a little bit special and not so comfortable. But we are professionals and we prepare as normal for the game.”
He’s not wrong. Few people have experienced a plane without AC before. It might have been one thing if the plane was 30,000 feet in the air and the temperature outside the plane was -50 degrees. On the ground?
Goodbye clothes.
The UEFA Champions League is an annual tournament featuring the best soccer teams in Europe, including Real Madrid, Chelsea and the defending champions, Paris Saint-Germain.
AS Monaco finally did make it to Belgium, losing to Club Brugge, 4-1. Not hard to understand, given the travel circumstances.
Yet the biggest winners were the gays who can’t get enough glimpses of hot, fit men in underwear.
