The annual MadBear festival returned to Torremolinos on Spain’s Costa Del Sol from August 7-18.

Spanish party promoters MadBear run several big gatherings throughout the year. One of the biggest is its annual 11-day festival in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol. It attracts thousands of international visitors.
Days are spent lazing and socializing on the beach or poolside, with the fun moving inside later in the evening. Participating venues for this year’s event (Aug. 7-18, 2026) included Aqua Emporio, Búnker and Centuryon.

A spokesperson said in a press statement, “Familiar faces returned, newcomers were welcomed, and friendships formed between people who might otherwise never have met. That mix of international reach and family feeling has been part of MADBEAR’s identity for more than two decades.”
Attendees enjoy international DJs and go-go’s, while the Mr Madbear contest proved another highlight.
“Torremolinos, for me, was a fun experience full of good times,” one attendee, Borja (@bochi_again – below), told GayCities. “We have been attending for three years, and we use the event as an excuse to see more friends from afar who take the opportunity to attend as well.”
The next big Madbear event is its Madrid festival this winter (December 3-10). It will be the 26th pre-Christmas gathering, and once again, most of the action will take place in and around Madrid’s Cheuca neighborhood. It’s the perfect excuse for a Spanish vacation and a great opportunity to discover this history-packed European city.
For those wishing to plan for next summer, Madbear returns to Torremolinos, 15 minutes west of Málaga, from August 6-17, 2027.
