If all you want to do is snooze this month, you have a good excuse!

September is Sleeptember, which the Sleep Charity organizes as annual awareness month to help people better understand the importance of sleep and how to rest better.

While the Sleep Charity is focusing on the impact of menopause on sleep for this Sleeptember, the organization is sharing free resources for anyone wanting more ZZZs. Those resources include an evening routine guide, a cooling sleep environment checklist, a sleep diary, sleep-friendly nutrition tips, and stress reduction exercises.

Even if you think you sleep well, you still might need those resources. In a 2017 study, researchers from the National Center for Health Statistics found that gay men were more likely to use sleep medication and more likely to wake up not feeling rested relative to both straight and bi men.
