Meet 6 of the hottest prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft

The NBA Draft is here, and we're looking at six of the hottest athletes who are likely to be selected by teams in the draft.

The 2026 NBA Draft is on its way next week, and when the players walk up on the stage on June 23 and 24 after hearing their names called, fans may be excited about more than just what level of play they’ll bring to the league.

Most of the teams with top picks in this NBA Draft were in the bottom half of last year’s final league standings, though the Atlanta Hawks for one — they finished sixth in the Eastern Conference last year and made the NBA Playoffs — pick eighth, thanks to a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Regardless, for some fans it’s not just how many points, rebounds or assists a player can rack up for the team. A player could be representing their favorite team for years to come.

These are some of the thirst-worthy draft prospects viewers will be watching when the 2026 NBA Draft goes live.

Cameron Boozer, Duke

Boozer is one of the top prospects in the draft, and he has plenty of brand recognition. Between playing at Duke and coming from a famous basketball father (Carlos Boozer), Cameron will be lighting the court up in the NBA with a big smile and plenty of pressure to perform.

Wagler is one of the best players to play at Illinois in recent memory. He had an historic 46-point performance earlier this season that showed his enormous potential once he goes pro. His youthful exuberance is an asset to his team, and he’s easy on the eyes.

Yaxel Lendeborg, Michigan

Lendeborg is plenty famous after leading the Michigan Wolverines to the National Championship. Despite this success, he’s not expected to go in the top ten of the draft, but he’s still expected to have a long and successful NBA career.
