For one weekend every year, Gay Days Anaheim transforms the happiest place on Earth into the gayest.

The unofficial LGBTQ+ community meetup attracts over 30,000 guests to both Disneyland and California Adventure as theme park lovers and Disney gays alike unite for a massive show of solidarity and fun.

It all started with a small one-day gathering in 1998, inspired by a similar event at Disney World in Orlando, and has turned into a full-blown weekend of programming.

This year’s Anaheim Gay Days, which ran from September 12 to 14, stretched from Main Street, U.S.A. and group pics in front of Cinderella Castle to bear get-togethers by Grizzly River Run and the greater Anaheim and Los Angeles area, where entertainers like Ginger Minj, Jackie Cox, and Zach Noe Towers performed.

Of course, it’s always easy to tell when it’s Gay Days in the park: Everyone is wearing red (and their exclusive Gay Days merch!), the only dress code requirement.
