"Where Did You Go" actually started when I heard Lilly’s vocal and instantly thought, “I need to do something with this.” Her voice is insane. I wanted to blend that emotional energy with my signature emotive sound and I’m really proud of how it turned out.You're only 24 years old and you're performing at the main stage at EDC this weekend. Plus, you just secured a residency with Tao Group in Las Vegas. What have the past few years been like for you with your career completely skyrocketing?It’s honestly wild. Just two years ago, I was in law school back in the Netherlands thinking music was just a side hobby. Then, "Hold Me" blew up and everything changed overnight. Shows, releases, nonstop travel. Now I’m barely ever home, living out of a suitcase, and loving every second of it. Playing EDC and having a Tao residency is a total dream come true. I still pinch myself.How did your journey into EDM begin? What led you to this moment?Like most artists, I started just making music in my room for fun. At some point, I realized people were actually listening so I leaned in. I shared my tracks on social media and it just started growing. One song led to another. For me, it’s always been about the music.What can fans expect from your EDC set?High energy and lots of feels. I’ve been working on a bunch of new edits, some of my own tracks with a twist, so expect familiar sounds with a fresh vibe. I want to set the perfect tone for the night. See on Instagram Vegas is such an iconic spot for a residency. How pumped are you to be performing there regularly?I’m super excited. Vegas has pretty much become my second home. Between pool parties during the day and crazy club nights, the vibe is unreal. I love switching it up and keeping the energy high all day and night.How will your sets in Las Vegas stand out compared to the other incredible acts on The Strip?I try to bring a sound that’s a little different. Emotional but still packed with energy. I think people who haven’t heard me before will walk away thinking it felt fresh and new. That’s always my goal.You’ve racked up millions of streams online. Do you have any new music dropping soon?Yes. I just released a remix for Tate McRae that I’m super proud of. She’s amazing. I’m also working on a collab with a big U.S. DJ which we’ve already played live a few times. We’ll announce it soon. And later this year I’m doing a big U.S. tour with new music dropping around that too. It’s going to be a big one.The LGBTQ+ community is such a huge part of rave culture. What message would you love to share with them?You all bring the fire. Your energy is next level every single time. You show up, go hard, and turn every set into a full-on celebration.
