Located directly opposite the Queen Victoria Building in the Sydney CBD (Commercial and Business District), Hilton Sydney (488 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia) is around a 10-15 minute walk to Oxford Street and Darlinghurst. Although not as close to the gayborhood as some of the other hotels mentioned here, Hilton brand is well-known for being LGBTQ-friendly.

In 2023, Hilton partnered with the non-profit, Minus18’s (set up by Australian actress Ruby Rose), to help organize inclusive school formals that welcomed queer youth. Hilton also has a global policy to create inclusive environments, actively training staff to serve the LGBTQIA+ community.

Hilton Sydney offers a day spa, salon, indoor pool and gym, brasserie, and two bars, including an elevated terrace one that’s perfect for sunset DJ sessions. The large, 43-story hotel offers 587 rooms.
