The internet is losing its mind over Paul Mescal & Andrew Scott partying at a sweaty gay bar last weekend

Paul Mescal celebrated the birthday of his All of Us Strangers co-star Andrew Scott by taking shots at a gay bar earlier this week.

Celebrities, they’re just like us!

The two Irish hotties reportedly hit up Madrid gay bar La Lupe with fellow actor Fionn O’Shea in honor of Scott’s 47th birthday. And not a single vodka cran was in sight!

According to viral photos snapped by onlookers, the trio wore white and showed off some hulking muscle as they downed liquor. We could write a whole essay about Mescal’s rolled up sleeves alone.

First off, we have to know what Kylie Minogue song was playing that made Scott get so sweaty –– and where TF was our invite?!

The thirst for Mescal after his thicc thigh Gucci ad and for Scott after his turn as “Hot Priest” in Fleabag is real. So, to say the internet was jealous (of his $920 loafers!) would be an understatement.

Mescal and Scott both star in Looking director Andrew Haigh‘s upcoming film All of Us Strangers.

After a chance encounter leads to a romantic rendezvous with his mysterious neighbor Harry (portrayed by Mescal), screenwriter Adam (Scott) is forced to confront his past and the suburban home haunted by the memory of his parents (Jamie Bell and Claire Foy), whom he never got the chance to come out to.

Watch the trailer below.

While the movie doesn’t hit theaters in the U.S. until December 22, it already has a 98% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes following its run on the festival circuit.

According to early reviews, the film is just as emotional and steamy as you’d expect it to be.

Mashable wrote that Scott and Mescal’s character’s “sexual dynamic, while initially hesitant, becomes pulsating and vulnerable, involving scenes of raw physical intimacy that verge on liberating.”

On the other hand, Collider called it “one of the most shattering and beautiful accounts of loss, love, and loneliness” and the type of “film that will stay with you long after you watch it.”

Perhaps it all boils down to the actors’ commitment to their roles. Haigh told Vanity Fair that “there was chemistry between the two of them literally the second [he] saw them together.”

He added that both men “were pretty fearless” when it came to approaching the film’s intimate and explicit sex scenes.

While we wait for All of Us Strangers to hit theaters, check out some of the best social media reactions to the stars’ gay bar outing.
