This gay-for-pay OnlyFans star says he’s “not cheating” on his girlfriend with men, but the internet’s got one question

In a viral video, the adult content creator says he doesn't really have a sexuality: "Maybe it's the money that turns me on, [or] it's the guys..."

By now, it shouldn’t be a surprise to hear that the world of adult entertainment is full of gay-for-pay performers.

Ever since people first started having sex on camera, there have been men who hook up with other men for a check, while otherwise maintaining heteronormative lives when they’re off the clock.

And in this modern era of OnlyFans and other sites that allow users to generate and disseminate their own X-rated content, the number has only grown, even as these guys use their public social media accounts to promote their work.

Way back in February 2020 (which is actually longer ago than it feels like it should be!) Dazed‘s Josh Schot wrote up the growing phenomenon, speaking with a number of these otherwise straight men who openly created content for a largely homosexual audience. And, sure, they’re just following the money, though the piece underscored this as a societal shift away from homophobia & toxic masculinity.

“It’s obvious people are going to question [my sexuality] and I’d be silly to think they wouldn’t,” one creator shared. “It was definitely something I was aware of.” Yet, he shrugged off the idea that his content might lead others to believe he’s gay, concluding: “At the end of the day, I work hard and earn a lot of money doing what I do—why not.”

That’s all well & good, but at least in the case of the Dazed piece, the men interviewed were (at the time) only posting photos & videos of themselves, and softcore content. So what about those that actually have sex with other men while still claiming to be romantically & socially straight?

Recently, a video has been making the rounds on X of an adult creator named Spencer—known as @BraxTalks—who seems to enjoy making gay-for-pay content, yet doesn’t label his sexuality, and even has a girlfriend who he lives with named Madison.

In the clip, Spencer says he makes “spicy content” and use to collaborate with women, but now only does so with other guys, claiming, “Straight creators don’t make a lot of money. If you’re a gay creator, you make way more money. But if you’re a gay creator and you like it, you’ll make even more money.”

Meanwhile, Madison (who also labels herself a “spicy creator”) is fully aware of this and says she has no problem with it, but reveals she chooses not to watch her boyfriend’s content.

“I wouldn’t be able to perform if you were watching, because when I’m alone with a guy I want our time to bro out,” Spencer says in the clip, which is met with what seems like nervous laughter from Madison. “Honestly, guys are easier to work with: Guys know what guys like more than what girls know about guys.”

Despite this, Spencer is adamant he doesn’t really “have a sexuality,” admitting he’s maybe turned on by the money more than anything… or the guys.

After user @escapefrommelos shared the video on X to the tune of 3.4 million views and counting, a number of people have chimed in with confusion over their arrangement, wondering why he won’t acknowledge or accept that he might be bisexual.

Of course, the couple seems to be used to the skepticism and questions. In the clip, Spencer acknowledges he has plenty of “die-hard” gay fans & followers who don’t want to see Madison, even in his SFW social content—and that’s when things get extra awkward:

“There’s room for everybody, just wait your turn” Spencer says as the camera catches Madison with a blank stare, the gears clearly turning in her head.

“Wait your turn?,” she wonders aloud. “For the guys,” he responds. “Guys, it doesn’t count. Like, I can cheat on you with guys… it’s not cheating if you like it—wait, [it’s not cheating if] you don’t like it.”

“But do you like it?,’ Madison asks. “I do, I do. I enjoy it,” Spencer answers. Ummmm…. so. Wait. It is cheating then? Now we’re confused!

As it turns out, the clip is part of a longer piece on the popular YouTube channel Love Don’t Judge, which spotlights the stories of hundreds of couples like Spencer & Madison who “get judged every day because of who they fell in love with.”

Since dropping last August, their video has racked up over 93,000 views and hundreds & hundreds of comments, many of which are—go figure—judging the couple. But whether you believe their love of not, they don’t seem to mind, encouraging viewers to keep judging because “it helps” and “makes us money.”

At the end of the video, couple is looking toward the future together, and even discuss ideas for their future wedding. When Madison notes her left ring finger is looking a little lonely, Spencer says, “It’ll happen… I think the future’s bright—you know, as long as she doesn’t c*ck block me.”

Whatever you say sweetie! And, you know what? As of this past January, according to Spencer’s Instagram, they are finally engaged. So… congrats to the happy couple after all?
