Old, Queer, and Still Kicking

Historian and visual artist Jonathan Ned Katz celebrates his 85th birthday with a discussion about his life, told through his artwork. The event will be hosted at the Bureau, as well as online via Zoom. Visit bgsqd.com to register.

I Promise I’m Doing My Best

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 Viewing Parties

When: Friday, February 10 and 17; show airs at 8 p.m.

Where: Multiple Locations

The 15th installment of RuPaul’s Drag Race has begun and bars across New York are hosting viewing parties every Friday across the city. The show kicks off at 8:00 p.m., but many of the bars across town will have shows and drink specials beforehand. See below for more details.

Pieces (8 Christopher Street): Former Drag Race contestant and host of Bootleg Opinions Yuhua Hamasaki is hosting at Pieces! Arrive early for prime seating.

Playhouse (100A Seventh Avenue): Boudoir LeFleur and Kimmi Moore give you a viewing party to die for. Stick around after Drag Race for their weekly show, Assassins.

Hardware (697 10th Avenue): Catrina Lovelac and Lola Michele-Kiki host; pre-show at 7:30 p.m.

Good Judy (563 5th Avenue, Brooklyn): Hosted by Ma’am She and Roqu in the Blue Room at Good Judy’s; showtime @ 8 p.m.

Phoenix (447 East Thirteenth Street): Hosted by Giardia the Parasite; showtime at 7:45 p.m.

Toolbox (1742 Second Avenue): Hosted by Janae Sais Quoi. Happy Hour until 8 p.m.

Suite (992 Amsterdam Avenue): Join Victoria Chase for a viewing party, followed by karaoke!

The Wallace (3612 Broadway): Head uptown for drink specials and drag numbers before and after the show. Hosted by Kiki Ball-Change! Doors at 7:30 p.m. 

C’mon Everybody (3612 Broadway): Catch Drag Race in the main bar & lounge – get there early for happy hour from 5-7 p.m.

Albatross Bar (3619 24th Avenue): Hassan hosts in Astoria every Friday at 8 p.m. Karaoke following the show.

Poppers: A Pop Party

When: Friday, February 10, 10:30 p.m.
