Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s annual Women’s 250 list, honoring the top 250 female wrestlers in the world, dropped Tuesday, and 25 out LGBTQ pro wrestlers were counted among the honorees for the third consecutive year.
Former four-time AEW Women’s World champion Toni Storm led the rainbow pack once again, following up her number-one ranking last year by ranking number two on the list behind fellow AEW star and holder of 12 belts representing 10 different championships: Mercedes Mone.
Storm earned her spot on the 2025 list by maintaining her status as one of the most popular stars in AEW regardless of gender. She reigned as AEW Women’s World champion for a large chunk of the evaluation period while building intense rivalries and matches with Mone, Mariah May, Kris Statlander and Megan Bayne.
Joining her in the top 100 were Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Women’s Canadian champion Gisele Shaw (71), Ring of Honor’s Trish Adora (87) and TNA Wrestling’s Indi Hartwell (91). The 2025 list broke the five-year streak of having multiple out trans pro wrestlers rank in the top 100.
Other honorees from major North American televised promotions were Piper Niven (105), Nyla Rose (134) and Harley Hudson (232).
