Andy Cohen celebrates all-too-brief family time by posting tender photo with his kids
One of Cohen’s recent Instagram posts struck a chord with many followers.

An Instagram posting from Andy Cohen appears to have struck a chord with many people. The 57-year-old chat show and radio host is a father to two kids: Six-year-old Ben and three-year-old Lucy. Both were born via a surrogate.
Cohen frequently posts photos and videos of Ben and Lucy on his social media, although he has taken to hiding their faces as they’ve grown older.
In a new post, he’s seen leading the kids across a crosswalk in New York City.
The simple caption reads: “I want to freeze this moment in the evolution of my family so badly. I hear every single day how quickly this will go and to savor every minute. I am trying! I am grateful for it all as life’s clock ticks loudly in my head. (This has been: ‘Deep Thoughts with Andy…’)”.

The post received over 130,000 likes in 24 hours. Among those to reply was reality star Kara Bosworth, who said, “Such a juxtaposition – feeling so lucky to watch them grow, and yet wanting to bottle each age’s special splendor ”.
Real Housewife of Orange County, Gretchen Rossi, agreed, saying, “It really does go by so quickly! Savor every minute you can with them, it’s just so very special ”.
Grandma and grandad
Cohen has embraced family life since becoming a dad. He also ensures that his kids spend quality time with their grandparents. Here’s an adorable video he posted a couple of months ago with his folks and children.
And here he is marking Lucy’s third birthday earlier this year.
This summer, Cohen relocated, leaving the downtown Manhattan apartment he’d been living in for the past 22 years and taking up residency in a nearby apartment with more terrace space just a couple of blocks away. He sold his previous home for a reported $14 million.
In June, Bravo confirmed it had renewed Cohen’s WWHL contract for another two years. His first-look development deal has also been extended by NBCUniversal for an additional three years through 2028.
