“Bad things can happen”: New alleged details emerge linking Tr*mp’s pageants to Epstein’s sex trafficking ring
Tr*mp's branded pageants offered access to "fresh meat" for powerful men

A taste for beauty pageants was among the many unsettling interests Tr*mp and former bestie Epstein shared, but up to this point, most of what we’ve known about the connection between Epstein’s SA ring and Tr*mp’s branded contests has been speculation. That all changed when one woman told her story to Tom Latchem’s “Punch Up” newsletter this week.
Beatrice Keul was a Swiss contestant in one of Tr*mp’s beauty pageants in 1993. During the competition that year, she alleges that she was sexually assaulted by Tr*mp before being passed over to Epstein to be “funneled” through his network of powerful, predatory men. When the 23-year-old Keul resisted, Tr*mp allegedly threatened her, promising that “bad things can happen to you if you speak out.”
The scene of the crime was the Donald J. Tr*mp American Dream Pageant. Tr*mp’s treatment toward Keul when he allegedly “jumped” her at the Plaza Hotel was violent: “it was quick, it was intense. I was screaming for help, and nobody came,” she says. Though Tr*mp has categorically denied accusations of rape from the 28 women who have come forward against him as being “unequivocally false,” Keul’s description of the assault mirrors E. Jean Carroll’s own testimony from her encounter with Tr*mp in a Bergdorf Goodman’s dressing room in 1996. “He seizes both my arms and pushes me up against the wall a second time, and…he holds me against the wall with his shoulder and jams his hand under my coat dress and pulls down my tights,” Carroll wrote in a graphic description of the rape she would later sue Tr*mp for—and win—in court. Carroll was also later discouraged from speaking out about the rape due to Tr*mp’s ability to “bury” her in litigation.
Keul first brought her own allegations forward in 2024. Now, in a three-part interview with Latchem, she’s speaking out about the other part of the equation. After being harassed by Tr*mp, she was recruited to join a “private meeting” for the purpose of being groomed by Epstein.

“Jeffrey Epstein wouldn’t let go of me,” Keul told NZZ later. “It was like a horror show.”
Now, Keul is telling Latchem everything she knows about the relationship between Tr*mp’s beauty pageants and Epstein’s recruitment tactics. Keul alleges that not only was she assaulted, other young, vulnerable women were taken to similar private meetings where they were procured for older, wealthy men by Epstein’s hand.
While we don’t have confirmation that Tr*mp knew Epstein was using the pageants for this purpose, it seems to have been a fairly open secret that the sex criminal, along with other prominent abusers such as John Casablancas, used beauty pageants as a way to recruit teenage girls for their own purposes. And at parties on private yachts, where the girls were coached to “perform” for these men, Tr*mp and Epstein were said to be in attendance. One model in the same 1993 pageant as Keul remembers Epstein and Tr*mp acting as each others’ “wingmen” in the Plaza Hotel.
Another model in the scene, Stacey Williams, put it bluntly: “The modeling industry was and is a pipeline for trafficking vulnerable people to powerful predators.”
If true, this network doesn’t just implicate Tr*mp and Epstein, but other powerful, since-disgraced predators in the industry, including Casablancas and model scout Jean-Luc Brunel.
Williams goes on to allege that Tr*mp groped her in Epstein’s presence, connecting the dots between Tr*mp’s potential awareness of Epstein’s crimes and the pageants that enabled them to “waltz” through the dressing rooms of teenage girls unannounced time and again.
According to Keul, Tr*mp at one point made it even clearer that he knew what Epstein’s empire was all about when he asked her, following the alleged groping, if she’d “spoken to Jeff” yet.
Much of this information has been publicly available before, but Keul’s allegations paint a clearer picture of what these pageants—many of them either branded or judged by Tr*mp—were actually about. To make matters even creepier, we know that Tr*mp was looking to funnel Ivanka through the exact same pipeline… starting at the age of 11.
