Collab Week attracted over 200 content creators to the gay, Mexican hot spot.

The first Collab Week festival took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, earlier this month.

Organized by JustForFans.com, it was a six-day opportunity for content creators to network, hook up and capture a wealth of content over the course of just a few days.

JustForFans runs a similar event each spring in Palm Springs. However, the team recognises that not everyone can easily jet into Palm Springs. After the US, the site has many content creators based in Central and South America. For this reason, Puerto Vallarta seemed a great destination to host a second Collab Week.

The event was a huge success, attracting over 200 models. Of these, around 50% were visiting Puerto Vallarta for the first time. Around 20 local businesses and sponsors supported the event, and organizers say around 1,500 videos of content were recorded.

Members of the public were also able to attend nightclub events and other mixer events with the models.

Activities took place at Mantamar Beach Club and the Almar resort. Filming took place at private pool parties, Spartacus Bathhouse, and on a boat trip to a secluded beach – as seen below.

Content creator Tony Lobo (@scruffy_lobo on Instagram) was among those to attend. He told GayCities, “It was a rewarding experience connecting with many content creators and behind-the-scenes team members. I aimed to maintain a balanced schedule by participating in several collaborations (typically 2-4), and then concluding by 5pm to fully enjoy what PV has to offer, taking in shows, going to restaurants, shopping, lounging by the pool, etc.”

“Way more successful than we thought it was going to be”

“Our inaugural Collab Week was way more successful than we thought it was going to be,” said JFF founder Dominic Ford [pictured below] in a press statement. “Creators can’t stop talking about it a week later, and store owners in town reported much higher sales than usual. It was a win-win for everyone.”

“What was unexpected to me was how engaged the content creators were with each other,” Ford continued. “Some filmed six months’ worth of content, but more importantly, they felt like they met their family. They felt seen.”

Ford says Collab Week will definitely return to Puerto Vallarta in 2026. He wants to expand the program to include activities like theater trips so attendees can enjoy more of what the coastal gay hotspot has to offer.

Before then, there will be another Collab Week in Palm Springs in May and a Collab Week in Fire Island in August. To keep informed, follow @CollabWeekPV on social media.

Puerto Vallarta hosts several big gay gatherings throughout the year. The next big event is the annual Beef Dip bears extravaganza at the end of January. As previously reported on GayCities, Posh returns for upmarket and glamorous partying with a long weekend of vacation fun from July 24-27, 2026.
