Michael Wilcox, 35, is in custody after being accused of making threats on social media by a special agent of the FBI. According to court documents, the Marion County man is accused of making Pride-related threats on Facebook and Instagram. The official term for the offense is transmission of an interstate threat to injure.
Wilcox posted a GIF in the comments of Goblin Market’s Facebook page on May 31 that read, “Can’t expect God to do all the work,” over an image of a gun being loaded. The post from the discount art market located in Orlando was promoting their Pride event scheduled for June 14 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.
