Manhattan Juneteenth event denounces ICE

One of the many Juneteenth events on June 19 was held near the intersection of Broadway and Duane Street — just steps from the African Burial Ground National Monument. The demonstration featured Rainbow Flags and signs denouncing the Trump administration's Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The event was led by the group Equality4Flatbush and endorsed by the Audre Lorde Project and other groups.
