Out athletes show off their gaycation Summer Lovin’

It’s summer in most of the world, and that means it’s time for vacation — or for out athletes, a gaycation. While a couple of major leagues — namely MLB, MLS and WNBA — have been in full swing, high school and college athletes, as well as many pros, have had at least some of the summer off to hit the road.

And that’s what many of them have done. Whether they’ve travelled the world — headed to places across Europe and the United States — or just stayed closer to home with friends, summer vacation has been a staple of many cultures for generations.

Here are some of the out LGBTQ athletes who have been posting on Instagram and other social media about the excursions escaping the heat and often hitting the beach.
