There’s confetti on the streets, a shortage of hard seltzers, and a ton of gay men still out on PTO, which can mean only one thing: New York City just celebrated Pride.

On Sunday, June 28, the Big Apple held its annual festivities, including its epic Pride March.

The approximately 2-mile long route, which practically takes over the entire city, was led by its history-making Grand Marshals: Bowen Yang, Dominique Jackson, Peppermint, Bernie Wagenblast, and Gays Against Guns, all of whom were nominated by the community.

It’s fitting considering this year’s theme, “For All Of Us,” was all about continuing the fight for LGBTQ+ liberation — for everyone.

More than 2 million people turned out to celebrate alongside 75,000 marchers (including mayor-slash-zaddy Zohran Mamdani) and bask in the unadulterated queer joy, reminding us all that we’re more stronger together.

“Reflecting on this Pride Month, we are so grateful to see so many LGBTQIA+ family, friends, and allies form near and far join us in the birthplace of Pride — especially during this challenging year when the world needed to see the spirit and fight of our community,” NYC Pride Executive Director Im Lynde said in a statement.
