Precinct prides itself for being the largest queer bar in downtown Los Angeles, and their third annual nightlife awards show — which took place last weekend — was proof that the bigger the bar, the bigger the party!

Of course, the night was an opportunity for the bar’s staff, queens, and favorite patrons to show up and show off. But more than that, it was a chance to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and the diverse and talented individuals who’ve made Precinct a can’t-miss stop during a night out in L.A.

Beloved drag queen (and self-proclaimed Silver Lake icon), Tony Soto served as mistress of ceremonies, alongside trophy boys Jake the Snake and Go Go Zaddy, as Precinct doled out awards like Best Short Term Show, which went to RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner Alaska Thunderf*ck, as well as trophies for the club’s best Go-Go Boy, Pole Dancer, DJ, and Barback.

Other awards included Best Entertainer, which, of course, went to Meatball, and Best Monthly Party, which went to HOWL.

As founder Brian McIntire would likely tell you, no LGBTQ+ business owner gets into it for the glitz and glam, but a trophy certainly never hurts! Fittingly, the third annual awards was a reminder that when we all come together, we positively sparkle.

Below, check out photos of some of the night’s big winners.
