The ‘cottage’ from Heated Rivalry is now available to rent
Now everyone can go to the cottage!

Fans of Canadian TV phenomenon Heated Rivalry know that one of its most iconic filming locations is ‘the cottage’ belonging to ice hockey star Shane Hollander (played by Hudson Williams).
Now, thanks to Airbnb, you have the opportunity to spend a night or more at the actual location.

In Canada, ‘cottage’ is a term used to describe any picturesque, lakeside home, and not just little humble abodes. This one, Barlochan Cottage, tucked away in Muskoka, Canada, features three bedrooms with king-size beds. There’s a stunning open-plan kitchen, exercise room, and spectacular views over the neighboring lake. The rental also comes with three kayaks, two canoes and a firepit.

It’s the perfect place to recreate your own Heated Rivalry fantasies, or snuggle up in an evening with a tuna melt, listening out for the calls of local loons.

The home was designed by Toronto-based architect Trevor McIvor and is located at Lake Muskoka’s Walkers Point. It’s 20 minutes from the towns of Gravenhurst and Bala. Muskoka Airport is within a 30-minute drive, and Toronto Airport is within a 90-minute drive. It sleeps up to six guests at any one time.

Bookings for this exclusive residence open March 3 at 9am PT / 12pm ET. It costs $248.10 CAD per night (approximately US$134). Heated Rivalry fans may appreciate the rental price nods to the show: Shane Hollander wore a No. 24 jersey for the Montreal Metros, and Ilya Rozanov wore No. 81 for the Boston Raiders!
