Rafael Olarra has everyone's attention!

Everybody seems to be obsessed with Pedro Pascal’s recent outings with a new pal.
Over the weekend, the 50-year-old Chilean-born heartthrob was spotted by paparazzi enjoying a leisurely afternoon walking around Manhattan with a tall, dark and handsome friend, who has been identified as gay creative director Rafael Olarra.
While TMZ reported the men dared to be “linking arms” at times, the outlet shared an image taken of them watching the new Margot Robbie flick Wuthering Heights in a theater. Celebs they’re just like us!
Later, Just Jared noted the pair were seen in the evening signing autographs & taking pictures with fans before entering a restaurant on the Lower East Side.

While many of the outlets won’t just come out and say it, the excitement over Pascal’s very uneventful activities is because he’s never addressed his sexuality and keeps his personal life private.
The Last of Us star is a staunch LGBTQ+ ally and his public display of friendship with Olarra has got inquiring minds wanting to know more.
Whatever the nature of their relationship, one thing is for sure – Olarra is smoking hot!
Who is Rafael Olarra?
Since news broke of Pascal’s weekend activities, many outlets have erroneously confused Olarra with a 47-year-old former Chilean soccer player with the same name.
Pascal’s Olarra, who is 42 and was never a pro athlete, was born in Argentina and studied at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires.
Since 2015, Olarra has been the art director at the luxurious Faena Hotel chain, which has properties in Miami, Buenos Aires, New York and Tulum, Mexico.
Based in Miami, he’s been the creative force developing the Faena District, a 6-block Miami Beach neighborhood featuring hotels, residences, restaurants, nightlife and the Faena Forum arts center.
Part of his job has him collaborating with celebrities and artists, with a recent Faena event spotlighting the one and only Cher.
“I’m in charge of all the visual aspects of the property. This means that some days I’m doing interior design for a public space and on another I’m building an art installation for the forum. It’s really varied,” Olarra told the fashion brand Orlebar Brown.
“One moment I can be doing a show for the theatre then the next I’m creating the content for social media or the newsletter. The busier I am, the happier I am. Over the years, I’ve become an expert at problem solving. I love it. It never stresses me.”
Fitness, photography & the Luke Evans of it all
If Olarra does get stressed, he turns to fitness.
By the looks of his enviable muscular physique, its no surprise Olarra has a workout regimen that utilizes the warm weather to its full potential whenever possible. Otherwise, he routinely works up a sweat at the gym.
“The coast has become important to me. It is where I train for triathlons. I get my best ideas swimming, biking or running,” he added.
“I go through the day in my head, make an inventory of events, think where I went wrong and what I can do better. The ocean gives me a sense of relief.”
Beyond his hectic job with Faena, Olarra still manages to work freelance gigs working on fashion campaigns, putting on events, and indulging his photography skills.
Back in 2020, Olarra shot a Todd Snyder campaign featuring out actor Luke Evans, who he just happened to be dating at the time.
“Luke was the one who pushed me to be a photographer,” he previously disclosed to Orlebar Brown.
“It is always fun when we work together. He looks good in every single picture you ever take of him.”
Despite the sweet words and looking damn good as a couple, the romance did not last. Olarra and Evans dated for over a year before splitting up in January 2021.
While that was Olarra’s last public relationship, it’s unclear whether he is single now or not.
Whatever the situation may be, he is definitely a catch. Who wouldn’t jump at the chance to be more than friends with this Argentine fox?!
