The WNBA Draft on Monday will likely see two out LGBTQ players selected in the first four picks and a third expected to be drafted later.

In five major mock drafts, guards Azzi Fudd of Connecticut and Olivia Miles of TCU are projected to be among the top three players selected, with ESPN predicting Miles will go No. 1 to the Dallas Wings. Two other mocks have Fudd going fourth. Texas guard Rori Harmon is projected to be chosen in the second or third round. All three players are out. Fudd is the girlfriend of Paige Bueckers, who was chosen No. 1 by Dallas in 2025.

Here are the three out LGBTQ players expected to be drafted:

Women’s March Madness love stories: 4 out LGBTQ stars bring romance to the NCAA tournament
Four of the top-seeded teams in the women’s tournament feature out LGBTQ players in relationships with other athletes.

Olivia Miles has been one of the biggest names in women’s basketball for several seasons now. Her extra time at the collegiate level has only improved her draft stock, with many speculating she could go first overall to the Dallas Wings.

Miles averaged nearly a triple-double during March Madness. As ESPN writes in its mock draft: “Her court vision is excellent. She made 73 three-pointers this season at TCU and last season at Notre Dame.”

Miles has been in a relationship with her former Notre Dame teammate, Maddy Westbeld, since 2025.

Azzi Fudd was projected to go first overall in the WNBA Draft at one point last month, but Fudd’s mediocre showing in the later rounds of the tournament dropped her stock in many mocks.

Regardless, Fudd should still be a top four pick in the draft. She will join a long list of out LGBTQ stars from UConn that played in the WNBA. She is currently dating Paige Bueckers and will be united with her partner if taken first overall by the Wings.

Rori Harmon — Texas

Rori Harmon likely won’t be a first-round pick, but the defensive wizardry on display from this Texas Longhorn should be enough to get her in the league and keep her there for a long time.

Harmon is dating Shaylee Gonzales, a former teammate from Texas who plays in Italy.

The WNBA is one of the biggest queer sports leagues in the world, with there being at least one LGBTQ player on each roster during the 2025 season.
