Many video games — and not even ones with overt queer and trans inclusion — are showing more colors of the rainbow in their pixels and polygons.

Video game culture tends to cater toward cis-het bros, many of whom post whiny complaints on social media when their games feature LGBTQ inclusion or use homophobic language in their gameplay. (Remember the gamer who offered a “But I’m from London” explanation to excuse the slur he dropped?)
But lately, many video games — and not even ones with overt queer and trans inclusion — are showing more colors of the rainbow in their pixels and polygons.
Check out these social posts naming the “gayest” video games and franchises — as praise and not a pejorative, as far as we can tell. As you’ll see below, one franchise in particular definitely takes the cake — and shows off cake.
